Differences, features, and commonalities of western, southern, northern, and central-eastern Europe are in the focus of analysis conducted on the basis of comparative sociological studies. The ability to compare sociological and statistical data on contemporary social processes in Europe is developed via creative analytical assignments, critical thinking assignments, individual and group work during the semester.
